Listed are the following places of interest in Tokyo!
Let start with ...
Ueno Park.
Ueno Park is within the Yamanote/Chou line. It's a nice park
for viewing of sakura flowers! just love the atmosphere there.
Tons of sakura flowers trees! a nice place but don't
think i saw anyone laying large sheet for small picnic for
resting and enjoying the flowers. Mostly i saw was banners of
plastic tapes, taping some of the area.
Asakusa
From Tokyo Station
Take the JR Yamanote Line to Kanda Station (2 minutes, 130 Yen) and transfer to the Ginza Subway Line for Asakusa (10 minutes, 160 Yen).
From Shinjuku Station
Take the orange JR Chuo Line to Kanda Station (10 minutes, 160 Yen) and transfer to the Ginza Subway Line for Asakusa (10 minutes, 160 Yen).
Japan Rail Passes, it doesn't apply here and you need to
purchase tickets from the machines. Don't worry there's
a English menu for all ticketing machines. XD
| Kaminarimon (Kaminari Gate) Kaminarimon is the first of two large entrance gates leading to Sensoji Temple. First built more than 1000 years ago, it is the symbol of Asakusa. The Nakamise shopping street leads from Kaminarimon to the temple grounds. | |
| Always open. Admission free. | |
| | Sensoji Temple Sensoji ("Senso" is an alternative reading for Asakusa and "ji" means temple) is Tokyo's most famous and popular temple. Built in the 7th century, it is also one of its oldest, although the current buildings are postwar reconstructions. |
Harajuku
Can be accessed from Yamanote/Chou Line too. This is a place
of many styles, cultures of young japanese gather here for meet-ups
or hangouts. XD. You can see tons of young japanese people dressing
up fashionable, weird, pretty and cute. These are the different kinds
of japanese fashion that can spot them wearing! more of a mixture
of clothings. Harajuku has TONS of shopping stores! yes TONS of
fashion and accessories available from all kinds of ranges.
This is a medium walk to explore most of the shopping stores in
Harajuku! Well as from my experiences, i have walked from the start
of Takeshita Dori to the end of road, where you don't see anymore
shops around, then i saw quite a few sakura trees near some of the
area. Quite a nice view from it.
| LaForet Harajuku LaForet Harajuku is a trend setting shopping complex, consisting of seven floors of fashion boutiques and shops, mainly geared towards a young, female audience. The LaForet Museum on the top floor hosts various events and exhibitions. | ||||||||

Akiharaba (Akiba)
Akihabara one of the world best places for japanese electronics!
Anime, games, figures and much more! Its a nice place for all
your shopping desire. Akihabara or Akiba for short its a term
used by the japanese locals, as well as moe. Hmm, what's moe?
moe is a term similar to turn-on(if i get this correctly). lol
Akiba has maid cafes, Figure, Games and anime shops, TONS
of them in the area! Oh ya, Sunday at Akiba's main road will
be open for people to walk about in the area and closed lanes
for not allowing cars to drive in, so feel free to run about in the
main road LOL!
